Dice Probabilities

Here are the probabilities of throwing specific numbers:

Two ways to make 3 and 11.

Three ways to make 4 and 10.

Four ways to make 5 and 9.

Five ways to make 6 and 8.

Six ways to make 7.

To determine the odds, you divide the number six (the number of ways 7 can be rolled) by the number of ways a number can be rolled.

Thus:

Number
# of ways to roll
True Odds
4 3 2 to 1
5 4 3 to 2
8 5 6 to 5
9 4 3 to 2
10 3 2 to 1
